Who we are

Deal Larder is operated by Deal Larder Ltd. Contact: info@deallarder.com.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, password (hashed), membership tier.
• App data you create: recipes, plans, shopping lists, pantry items, cook history, preferences (e.g. favourite store).
• Payment data via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
• Technical data: device/browser, IP (for security and rate limits), pages used.
• Feedback you send via the beta widget, and optional contact email.
• Marketing/analytics cookies only if you consent (see Cookies).

How we use data

• To provide the meal-planning service and improve recipes.
• To send account emails (verify, password reset, welcome).
• To process subscriptions and prevent abuse.
• With consent, to measure marketing (Meta, TikTok, Google) and site analytics.

Sharing

We use processors such as Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payments), Brevo (email), and xAI (recipe/image generation). We do not sell your personal data. Public recipes you share may appear in All Recipes for other users.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data, and object to certain processing. Email info@deallarder.com. You may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Retention

We keep account and recipe data while your account is active, and for a reasonable period after for legal, tax, and security needs. Feedback and logs are kept as long as useful for product improvement.
